Australian influencer Allanah Harris has asked her followers to pray for daughter Daisy as she undergoes brain surgery today.
Harris, of Queensland, took to her Instagram page last night to provide an update to her 256,000 followers about the one-year-old’s condition.
In a post to the.harris.famimlyy Instagram Stories, Harris told her followers Daisy’s condition had continued to worsen since her last update earlier this week.

“We were hoping that our next update would be good news, but unfortunately that just isn’t the case,” she wrote.
“Daisy has since been having at least one cardiac/peri arrest a day and now she is also being treated by the cardiac team on top of the neurology and neurosurgery team.
“We are super anxious for Daisy’s first brain surgery tomorrow morning and crossing absolutely everything that surgery works or else she will have a second brain surgery early next week.
“Please hold Daisy in your thoughts and prayers.”

In a follow-up post to her Instagram Stories at about 9am Friday, Harris gave another update alongside a photo of herself, husband Brock and Daisy prior to surgery.
“Daisy woke up for about five minutes today,” she wrote. “It was like her way of telling us that she’s going to be OK.”
As well as Instagram, Harris runs the popular the.harris.familyy TikTok page, which has 1.1 million followers.
Harris took to social media on July 1 to reveal her youngest child had been diagnosed with infantile spasms and tuberous sclerosis complex
The latter is a rare genetic disease that causes non-cancerous or benign tumours to grow in the brain and other parts of the body.
Since then, Daisy’s condition has continued to worsen, with Harris telling her followers on August 11 that their once “bright and bubbly little girl” had been in a coma for 100 hours.
In an update earlier this week, Harris described her daughter’s condition over the past few weeks as “very touch and go.”
“Last Wednesday, Daisy took an unexpected turn and went into cardiac arrest (a couple of times) and again ran into further really scary complications Father’s Day of all days.”

She said Daisy had undergone three MRI’s, a lumbar puncture, a PET scan, a CT Scan, ECG’s, heart echocardiogram and “too many EEG’s to even count” in the search for answers.
“[Daisy] will continue to stay in ICU until her surgery day, as well as the following few weeks for close monitoring while they investigate her cardiac issues,” Harris said, adding neurological teams from around Australia were also searching for an answer.
Harris and husband Brock also share James, seven, Chase, three, and Ellie, two.
A GoFundMe has been launched to help the family.
